==========================================

This Friday night was held the 23rd annual protest for the international day against police brutality organized by the collective opposed to police brutality.
As has been the case for many years now, the COPB denounces the brutal repression and arrests of two individuals, as well as a the dozens of injuries that were incurred tonight during the demonstration at the hands of police forces.
This year’s demonstration allowed community members who have faced violence at the hands of law enforcement to express their anger and frustration.
Instead of listening to and internalizing the criticisms and fears our communities have about rampant police murder every year, the City of Montreal Police Department (SPVM) would rather brutalize those who gather to demand a change to this murderous police cycle. Every year this demonstration grows in validity as the list of names of those killed by the forces of the law increase.

As long as there will be no Justice, there will be no peace.

Finally, we are making a call out for witnesses; If you have been arrested, brutalized or if you witnessed an arrest or a case of police brutality, please contact the COBP cobp@riseup.net

We also remind you to be careful with what you publish (photos and videos) on social media.
