A group of Black community organizers is calling on Ottawa police Chief Peter Sloly to meet with them and answer questions about the police raid that preceded the death of 23-year-old Anthony Aust earlier this month.

Aust jumped from his 12th-floor bedroom window at 2020 Jasmine Cres. the morning of Oct. 7 just moments after Ottawa police broke down the front door to his apartment, announced their presence, then tossed a flash grenade into the front entry.
