Une fête du Travail agrémentée de chants syndicaux et de roteux (hot-dog), voilà ce que le Syndicat Industriel des Travailleurs et Travailleuses (SITT-IWW Montréal). Loin de nous la volonté de célébrer cette fête patronale, nous saisissons plutôt l’occasion pour célébrer notre solidarité à l’encontre de cette dernière. Une occasion pour se réunir, pour se réapproprier cette fête et pour venir dénoncer tout ce que cette classe patronale sous-tend : la précarité de nos conditions de travail, l’impunité des patrons, les inégalités, etc.

Le 3 septembre, 13h00, nous vous invitons toutes et tous à nous rejoindre au parc Laurier. BBQ et chants syndicaux seront de la partie!

In conjunction with the traditional North American Labour Day, with an addition of radical union songs and food (hot dogs!), the IWW Montreal invites you to our Labour Day festivities in the park! Critical of the holiday in its current, liberal interpretation, we're going to be using this opportunity instead to celebrate our solidarity amongst our colleagues and meet both with other union members and new faces. With this opportunity to meet and unite, we hope to re-appropriate the North American idea of "labour day" to denounce all that the owner class want and believe in: the precarity of our jobs, our terrible workplace conditions, the impunity of bosses and owners, labour inequalities, etc.!

The 3rd of September, 1 pm, we invite you all to join us for our union BBQ at Parc Laurier! Singing, eating, and a good time await!
