Toronto Police Officers Reportedly Seen Dumping Cold Water On Homeless People In -20°C Weather

As the temperature drops, Toronto's homeless population is more at risk. Recently though, Toronto police officers were reportedly witnessed dumping cold water on homeless people in the city, even during extreme cold warnings. The accusations have come in the past week when temperatures have been dropping lower and lower.

In fact, in Toronto, Public Health has confirmed that an extreme cold warning is still in effect in the city today, with wind chill factors making it feel like -20°C. In their warning, they specifically identify people who are "marginally housed or homeless" as being more at risk in these temperatures.
