Additional charges laid against London police officer accused of sexual assault

A London police officer charged two weeks ago with sexual assault is now facing additional charges that stem from the Waterloo region.

The 41-year old officer, whose name is being withheld to protect victims, was charged Monday with two counts of criminal harassment, making harassing phone calls and being unlawfully in a dwelling.

Those charges are in addition to the sexual assault accusation he faced on Nov. 22. In that case, London police said the female victim had been in a relationship with the accused.
