Man who died in Dartmouth, N.S. police shooting identified

HALIFAX—Nova Scotia’s police watchdog has identified the 24-year-old man who died after being shot by police in an incident this weekend.

Officers had been responding to a weapons complaint at a home in the Dartmouth community of Westphal just before 8 a.m. Saturday when the incident happened, RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jennifer Clarke said.
