Black drivers lead convoy to premier's riding office to protest against racial profiling

Black community organizations led a convoy of Black drivers from Montreal and the Lanaudière region to Quebec Premier François Legault’s L’Assomption riding office on Sunday afternoon with a list of demands to end racial profiling.

The event’s slogan, “driving while Black, proud and free,” drew on the phrase “driving while Black” alluding to police being more likely to stop Black drivers for no discernible reason.
