Les policiers me suivent jusqu’à l’intérieur.

Broken Fingers (doits fracturés)

Date de l'événement:

15 January 2022

Two-months ago, my husband, in a state of distress, was confronted by the SQ agents just outside of Montreal island. After restraining my husband, one SQ agent repeatedly stroke him on his left hand with his baton, breaking two of his fingers (he was kept in prison with broken fingers with three days).

The fingers needed invasive surgery which have cost us $10,000 (he is not a permanent resident yet).

Here is when minority status, precarious immigration status, and state of distress cross, giving the police the opportunity to show the depth of their brutality.
